The first Big Band Dance of the summer was rained out on Saturday. 😦 However, Dance World’s annual Summer Showcase was a fun-filled “Circus” of success. Congrats to all the students who participated in making a spectacular show. Thanks to U.S. Smooth Champion and co-owner, David Hamilton, for choreographing many of the routines and producing a great event. Check out Christopher and Juanita’s show closing number here.

Join me this summer every Saturday night at 7pm for free dance lessons and live music at Centennial Park! Metro Parks has presented this awesome event for over 30 years for the public. I am excited to be able to teach for them again this year. The first dance will be on Saturday, June 7th.

Every week I get the opportunity to teach some amazing students. I had a group of wonderful kids and a lovely married couple dance in their first showcase last night. They all rocked their routines and looked like they had fun. So proud!

That’s right. Juanita Simanekova and Christopher Wayne are at it again. After a 3 year hiatus, the pair has rekindled their partnership and are more excited than ever! Last weekend was their “re-debut” at the Atlanta Open where they placed 4th in the Rising Star event. Check back soon for video!
