Had the wonderful surprise of a new dress waiting for us in St. Louis! Took 2nd place in the Rising Star event Friday evening. And despite getting kicked during the Bolero in the quarter-final Saturday night, we placed 6th! Now we just need to keep this momentum going for next month! (Don’t worry, I ALMOST got kicked in the head, came away with only a little scratch on my shoulder!)
