I was very blessed to be able to participate in “Dancing For Safe Haven 2012,” a fundraiser for Safe Haven Family Shelter, on April 20th. Safe Haven is the only shelter-to-housing program of its kind in Middle Tennessee that accepts the entire homeless family. The event was a success, raising over $100,000!!! All the “Stars” did a fantastic job, especially my “Star,” John Steele. He was a hard worker and a joy to have as a student. Thanks, John, for making the experience even more memorable!
